SINGLE NY/NJ GIRLS - Would you be into...?

OK I have noticed that some girls on here are looking for new girlfriends...not in a sexual way I mean just a good friend.

Anyway I am a single girl who has a few girlfriends but most are dating someone, married or have kids. I am wanting to go out to different places and actually meet some new guys...not always possible being everyones situation.

Now for my question. If I started a MySpace page for single girls who are looking for new girlfrinds to go out with do you think girls would be open to meeting and hanging out with new people? Or would I be the only one into this lol

Also im 28 years old.

I understand completely! I am only 23, but I live in Utah, and I only have, like, 3 friends who aren't married! we were all so young and free... and now they are too busy doing married things to hang out very often. Kind of lonely. And I'm really busy with full time work and full time school, which makes it hard to find new friends. Sigh.

If I was in NY/NJ, I would definitely give your site a try. But don't say girls looking for girlfriends. Try something more specific, so you don't get pervy guys looking for threesomes hitting up your site. Something classy, fun... Sorry, I'm drawing a blank!

Once you get a catchy name, write a thorough description. Don't sound desperate for friends, though, or no one will be interested. Go for light, breezy, trendy, and fun!

Try marketing your group as a society, club, etc. for single girls whose friends have all deserted them by getting married, moving away,etc! Say that this site is to help network women who want to have a fun girls night out.

Sounds like a good idea though. It's not so easy sometimes meeting people, and it's a lot more enjoyable to go out in a group. Safer for you ladies too, lotta creeps out there.
